The Sansglu take
The place
La Manufacture du Sans Gluten holds the corner of Rue Androuet and Rue des Trois Freres in Montmartre, directly across from the Maison Collignon grocery famous from the film Amelie. It is a small counter shop a short climb from Sacre-Coeur, and its artisans are listed by the College Culinaire de France.
The gluten-free setup
The whole facility is gluten-free, so there is no airborne wheat flour to worry about. Current community reports describe it as dedicated gluten-free, and recent celiac reviews report no symptoms. No third-party certification is claimed.
What to order
The croissant is the reason to climb the hill: celiac travelers repeatedly call it the best gluten-free croissant in Paris. The case also runs to pain au chocolat and a rotating set of pastries.
The move
Go before the Montmartre crowds, then take the pastry bag across the street for the Amelie storefront photo. Closed Mondays per its current listed hours.
