The Sansglu take

The place

A small macaron shop on North Clark in Andersonville, opened in 2023 by the Cincinnati-founded Macaron Bar team. French macarons are the entire product line.

The gluten-free setup

Almond-flour macarons are the whole menu, and celiac diners report the shop as dedicated gluten-free. Macarons naturally contain nuts, eggs and dairy. Ask at the counter if you want detail on the baking facility.

What to order

Mix a six- or twelve-box from whatever is in the case that day.

The move
