The Sansglu take
The place
Bistrò opened in 2016 on Corso Magenta 9 as the restaurant extension of Via dalla Spiga, the gluten-free bakery the same owners have run since 2013. It sits in the Magenta district a few minutes from Santa Maria delle Grazie and works as café, lunch stop, and dinner spot in one room.
The gluten-free setup
Everything served is gluten-free. Bread, focaccia and pastries arrive daily from the group's own gluten-free bakery lab, and current community listings report the whole venue as dedicated, with celiac diners logging symptom-free visits across hundreds of reviews. Even the beer is gluten-free; one community report notes it tests below 20 ppm.
What to order
Celiac diners keep naming the squid burger, the tagliere with gluten-free gnocco fritto, and the pistachio tiramisù. Fresh pasta and lasagna come out of the same lab that supplies the bakery's bread.
The move
The kitchen takes summer holidays in August and reopens August 26, 2026. Outside the holiday window it runs from breakfast through dinner and closes Monday; call ahead in late summer to be sure.
