The Sansglu take
The place
Verde Cocina's Pearl District dining room at NW 12th and Hoyt, the second home of a farm-driven Mexican kitchen that has run its menu fully gluten-free since 2009. A sister location operates in Hillsdale.
The gluten-free setup
The food menu is gluten-free end to end, and community reports add votes for the dedicated setup. One honest scope note: the bar stocks regular bottled beers alongside a locally brewed gluten-free IPA, so the promise covers the kitchen, not every drink.
What to order
The menu lists weekend brunch chilaquiles: two eggs scrambled with tortilla, veggies, garbanzo beans, ranchero salsa, and cotija. Tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas carry the rest of the week.
The move
Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm; that is the window locals plan around. If Sylvan Highlands was your location, note it is temporarily closed after a fire; Hoyt and Hillsdale are open.
