Counter-casual taqueria on Columbia Road in Adams Morgan, with a second location on 12th Street NE off H Street. Small, bright, and busy at meal times, with a bar pouring mezcal and margaritas alongside the tacos.

The gluten-free setup

The kitchen runs dedicated gluten-free, and celiac diners report a dedicated fryer and staff who know the protocol. Every tortilla is made in-house from whole corn. The bar stocks regular beer, so the gluten-free promise covers the food, not the drink list.

What to order

The menu lists a quesabirria quesadilla that reviewers keep naming: stewed beef and cheese crisped in a corn tortilla with dipping broth. Chips and tortillas are made from scratch.

The move

Both locations run the same dedicated gluten-free kitchen, so pick whichever side of town you're on and order off the full food menu. If you drink, know the beer list is regular beer.
