Preorder-only gluten-free and dairy-free bakery operating out of Snap Kitchen, a shared commissary building in Houston's Upper Kirby district that also houses other food businesses. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and mixes are baked to order for pickup rather than sold from a walk-in storefront case.

The gluten-free setup

Bare Bakery's own site states its entire menu is baked in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen with no gluten-containing ingredients allowed in, and a FindMeGF community badge separately reports the same dedicated-GF status. Neither source documents how that kitchen is physically separated from the other tenants operating inside the shared Snap Kitchen building, so Sansglu has not independently verified that separation.

What to order

Reviewers repeatedly flag the dark chocolate brownies, snickerdoodle cookies, and grain-free granola as favorites, alongside custom cakes like the lemon and honey cake.

The move

Everything is preorder-and-pickup at the Upper Kirby address inside Snap Kitchen — order ahead through the site rather than expecting a walk-in retail case.
